In the winter of 2017, I was approached by The Dailies, a full-stack film production operation based in SF.  We'd worked together on small projects before, and after my exit from Yidio, I was ready to get my hands dirty again with brand direction and delve more deeply into writing for screen as I worked on finishing a novel in my spare time.

The Dailies is a rag-tag team of DPs, directors, and producers based in California, Hawaii, and Colorado.  They were looking for someone to boost their presence and scale their brand to accommodate for an influx in production jobs and a rapid incline in demand.

Established in 2014 by a small Honolulu-based film team specializing in rugged media production (specifically; climbing and surfing documentaries and outdoor lifestyle commercials), The Dailies needed a new look that would be more in line with their expansion.  As their specs changed shape and grew in frequency, they were witnessing a genesis from climbing photographers to a full-blown production team.

As the brand evolved, taking on commercial and creative multimedia gigs for up and coming brands like Bathing Culture and MØNGREL, The Dailies evolved into a print/press workshop, garment supplier, brandery, and mobile film production studio.

I brought ideas from paper to print, from mind to motion, both as an in-house brand engineer and a consultant for the brands and faces we worked with.  I designed, built, and managed their copy, media kit, branding, and web/mobile sites.

Check out to see what we've been up to.
